A lof of hours and work went into many campaigns during this election cycle, the biggest of which not turning out as we had all hoped and wished. No matter what comes next though, we will not back down, and we won’t go back.
Congratulations to several of our endorsed candidates and other Democrats on their victories: Adam Schiff, Jim Costa, Esmeralda Soria, Luis Chavez, Esmeralda Hurtado, Nasreen Johnson, and Elizabeth Jonasson-Rosas!
THIS TUESDAY, we will be starting our meeting EARLY at 5:30 PM. We will be starting with our speaker, Nabil Kherfan, on last week’s election, followed by dinner orders, and then our regular agenda.

About Nabil Kherfan
Nabil Kherfan was elected to the Central Unified School Board in 2022 as the youngest board member in Central’s history. Born and raised in Fresno, he received his degree in Political Science from UC Santa Cruz and came back to Fresno to join the fight against former Congressman Devin Nunes and Donald Trump. He has worked on various local campaigns from school board to city council and statewide proposition. He also serves as the Endorsement Review and Candidate Recruitment Chair for the Fresno County Democratic Party.
