I had the extreme pleasure of meeting the owner of El Taco Grande two years ago and wanted to give him and El Taco Grande another shout out. He’s a jovial and friendly man who has a knack for telling stories. I was treated to one of their burritos with chicken, rice, and beans and let me tell you: It was delicious! When I have more time, I want to try the same burrito with sour cream and avocado. How yummy does that sound!?
If you’ve never heard of them before El Taco Grande specialized in original Mexican “fast” food. They make everything fresh right there in the little store front location. They are located at 7357 N. Blackstone Ave, Fresno, CA 93650 between W. Alluvial and W. Minarets Avenues. They are currently open during the pandemic, albeit for take out only to comply with local restrictions.
