FSU’s high tech and efficient “CUP”

Ever visited the Fresno State University’s Campus after the pandemic ended? You’ll have noticed that there was much construction, and there still is. I’ve been a student since last semester now and I have to say, the construction constantly changing locations and blocking routes is one of the most significant challenges to new students.

But it’s all for the greater good (I may graduate before the construction finishes LOL); it’s all a part of a very expensive project for a Central Utility Plant, which is a centralized chiller and boiler plant for cooling and heating. Both systems called for new or refurbishing of cooling/heating pipes throughout the entire campus, hence why construction is campus wide and continually shifting. The new tech achieves high efficency and collaboration with heat recovery systems, digital monitors, and heat pumps.
