That belongs in a museum!

I went wine tasting last Sunday, with Engelmann Cellars as one of the stops. The winery’s main building is indeed a cellar, with AC’s set at a cool 65. A winery is more than a place to go wine tasting or buy wines; Engelmann Cellars has a spacious outdoor field with plenty of shade, entertainment and refreshments as well. But the one thing that caught my eye was the manual wine press. The owners had obtained it in a rusted, non functional state, but managed to clean it to to where it is even functional. Most wine presses these days are large, automatic machines. Hard to know if it’ll ever press any wines, but I see a special small batch wine in the future.
