I’ve once covered how Fresno has a chile pepper named after it, and has a business that makes their own salsa locally. But I’ve never really heard or tried any hot sauces made locally. Naturally, my curiosity has led me to discover Volcano Johnny’s, which is based in Fresno County with their kitchen in Reedley. Their specialty is small-batch quality, and they also produce some barbecue seasonings (like Papi’s, who’s also based in Fresno County) and hot honey.
